Nairobi National Park
Most accessible and yet wild and natural, Nairobi national park is just a breath and sight away from the bustling Kenya safari capital of Nairobi. Established in 1946 and Kenya’s first the Nairobi National park is made up of wide open grass savannah plains. It is home to four of the Big Five safari animals: lions, buffalo, leopards, and rhinos. In fact, the park contains the highest density of black rhinos anywhere in Kenya. What you won’t find here are elephants. In addition, its scattered acacia bush hosts a wide variety of wildlife including the Cheetahs, Hyenas, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Bushbuck, Hippopotamus and a diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. The best part of it is that all of this can be viewed against the backdrop of Nairobi City skyscrapers looming in the distance.
